As for the novel, just today, it seemed a little more possible again and hope that next week in Keswick will help to cement that.
You bet I'll be there on Iona in April! Keep shedding your pearls!
Love, M.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5055598777203654547.post-3250651410544679962013-09-18T16:44:09.663+01:002013-09-18T16:44:09.663+01:00Miriam, thank you. And you know I think you and Jeff both would have loved the French course and its atmosphere...!

I hope for you that you feel you can really immerse yourself in the novel again - it's a strong story, well told, Miriam - and don't forget if you need that rushing sound of a deadline we can always talk about mentoring! On the other hand, of course it'd be lovely to work with you on your poetry, too - next course will probably begin end January.

Either way, see you at the end of April on Iona! With love. The poems you choose feel incredibly comfortable on the tongue, in the voice and prompt a craving in me. Having lain fallow for the 6 months since Iona, but with ideas as yet to be committed to page, I find I miss writing poetry – miss the stimulation and imposed purpose of a group. I'm beginning (well, it's always been tempting!) to wonder about applying for your Poetry course, unless my novel takes-off again during the next few months.
More by email maybe.
With thanks and love, Miriam.

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
