wild boar 11

I thought this fine beast deserved a page all of its own. It's a drawing by my friend Michael Fairfax, who's just publishing a book, War Pig, telling a brutal story from Roman times. Michael is being circumspect about all this at the moment, so I'm waiting to find out if what he has to say is truth or fiction!

He's really captured the wild boar quality, I think – this one is so alive I can practically hear the grunts. Thank you, Michael, for permission to reproduce this fine fellow.

    I checked the book out on Blurb, Michael, and had the complete preview. Neat story; amazing illustrations! I hope it sells really well! xx

    Thank you, but I fear the price of postage is putting everyone off. 152 have visited the site and no sales..oh well the joy of an author eh!
